At Dave Clark, I'm a Junior Software Developer working for a project for Forsyth Barr which is an investment firm.

Responsibilities:

• Bug fixing
• Node.js and PHP development
• React.js development
• Library upgrades
• Unit and integration testing.

Web Developer - Selwyn Swim Club:

Work in progress

This is a volunteering job where I am building a customizable website for Selwyn Swimming club from scratch, written in Node.js. I started to work on this project in August 2020.

• I am using Node.js and Express framework.
• This web app includes admin login and session authentication.
• I have added a contact form using Sendinblue API to deliver messages by email.
• The design and responsive layout were created using Bootstrap.
• I have used EJS to create HTML templates.
• MYSQL database to store events
• I am showing the location of the swimming club using Google Maps Embedded API.

Education

Diploma in Web Development – Developers Institute:

10 Months course – in progress.
The web development programme is structured into four areas: Client-side development, Server-side development, Full-stack development and Enterprise development.
This course covers a number of programming languages and concepts, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, source control (GitHub), REST APIs, back-end technologies like Node, Docker, and MongoDB, and user experience design tools..

Certificate in PHP and MySQL - University of Technology:

6 Months course
This course aims to introduce students to the Programming of interactive and dynamic websites in PHP language and MySQL databases.

Certificate in Information Technology - NZSE:

4 Months course
This course covers the essential knowledge in the area of computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and networks to provide support for hardware and software resources. Knowledge and skills in the concepts of software development, database, and information systems.
